built for strength training

a workout tracker that stays out of the workout.

Plan the session, log each set, track every personal record, and understand your training week without a feed competing for your attention.

up next

your next workout, ready before you are.

Open the app to one card: what’s up next, how long it’ll take, and what it hits. One tap on Start Workout and you’re lifting.

  • workout cards with muscle tags and last-done dates
  • build a new workout in seconds
  • greets you by name — it’s your gym, not a feed

Start Workout

build me a workout

a new workout in seconds.

Pick push, pull, legs, upper, lower, or full body, or describe the workout you want in your own words. Primed turns it into a session, ready to start.

  • six splits, one tap each
  • describe exactly what you want and Primed builds it
  • Pick for me targets what you’ve trained least
  • lands on your home screen, ready to start
Build me a workout sheet listing Push, Pull, Legs, Upper, Lower, Full Body, a Pick for me option, and a custom workout prompt

primed

a coach that knows when you’re primed.

Primed turns your recent training into a clear workout score, points you at the next PR you’re primed to chase, and shows where the coming week needs attention.

  • suggested PRs with exact targets, flagged the moment you’re primed
  • a weekly workout score out of 10
  • sessions, training time, and PRs in one summary
  • training balance across every muscle group

ask primed

talk through your next workout.

Raise a PR, build a plan, or swap an exercise in a saved routine. Primed uses your training history to help, with Cloud AI by default and an optional on-device mode for offline coaching.

  • Cloud AI with sign-in and internet; on-device mode on compatible iPhones
  • requested routine edits with Undo, plus plans to preview and save
  • answers built from your actual training history

Cloud AI securely sends your messages and a training summary through PR to OpenAI to answer, never to train models. See how Primed’s two modes work.

Ask Primed conversation answering how to bring up shoulders with a shoulder press, lateral raise, and reverse fly plan, followed by a training balance chart

the chase

the number to beat, right on the lift.

When you’re primed for a personal record, PR pins a Chase target to that exercise — the exact weight to beat this session. Hit it and the chip flips to HIT. It’s right there as you log, so there’s no guessing between sets.

  • a Chase target on the lifts you’re ready to PR
  • last session’s best in the PREV column, set by set
  • a rest timer that starts itself, with +15s and skip under your thumb
An active Push workout with Incline Chest Press sets logged, a HIT 245 chip, a Chest Fly Chase 225 target, and a running rest timer

live activity

your workout, on the lock screen.

Timer, sets logged, and the lift you’re on — right on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. No unlocking between sets.

  • elapsed time and sets logged at a glance
  • current exercise with the last set’s weight × reps
  • a lock screen widget for days trained this week

watch the line move.

questions, answered

about the PR workout tracker.

What is PR?

PR is a focused workout tracker for iPhone. It builds your next workout, logs sets and reps in seconds, tracks personal records with an exact target to chase, and keeps history, body metrics, and Apple Health data in one place.

Who is PR built for?

PR is built for people who lift and want a fast, quiet training log. It is especially useful if you care about progressive overload, personal records, consistency, and weekly muscle balance without social feeds or gamified noise.

Does PR plan workouts and track personal records?

Yes. Pick push, pull, legs, upper, lower, or full body and PR builds the session, or let it pick whatever you have trained least. Primed flags the lifts you are ready to PR, and a Chase target on the exercise shows the exact weight to beat while you log.

Does PR work with Apple Health?

Yes. With your permission, PR reads heart rate and body weight from Apple Health and writes finished workouts and weigh-ins back to Health, where you can view them alongside your other health and fitness data.

Is PR available for Android?

Not currently. PR is an iPhone app, and the public beta installs through Apple TestFlight.

Does PR cost anything?

Joining the public beta through TestFlight is free. Some features may require a subscription sold through the App Store, and Apple handles billing, cancellation, and refunds.

How can I get help or send feedback?

Open Settings → Contact Support inside PR, or email support@getpr.app. The PR support page covers exporting or deleting your data, how Primed uses cloud and on-device AI, Apple Health permissions, purchases, and sign-in.

quiet by design

nothing between you
and the bar.

No feeds. No confetti. No gamified noise. Black background, white type, your numbers — because the only thing worth chasing is the next one.

dark by default.

Built for 6 a.m. garage gyms and 11 p.m. finishers — with a paper-white light mode one tap away.

monochrome, on purpose.

Nothing competes with the work. Add an accent color only if you want one.

big type, fat targets.

Readable from the bench, tappable with shaky post-set hands.

zero ceremony.

Open, hit Start Workout, lift. Logging never interrupts a set.
